Haven't we seen this before 9er Fan, a receiver / tight end taken in the first round that turns out to be a bust. Granted this go around you got a "kind of Combo" for your wasted pick. Vern has started and probably end like another SF 1st round disaster JJ Stokes, but remember when "VD" was drafted (or contracted) he cried just like the other noble former SF catcher named "TO"....
